Here at St Marks Country Park we have 3 secluded Tholtans dotted around the park. Each Tholtan has its own amazing view across the countryside of the Isle of Man.
We also have our Shepherds Hut which can be situated anywhere you like on the Park

The Tholtans are a 2 bed-roomed, basic dwelling house with a thatched roof. Each Tholtan has a log burning stove, basic cold water supply and a gas fridge. In the main room you will find a table & chairs, a dresser and a sofa. The main bedroom houses a double bed and the 2nd bedroom has bunk beds in it. The attic space makes great storage space. Outside there is a toilet and a hot shower cubicle.
Why not book to stay overnight and experience days gone by when life was so much simpler, where games were played, stories were told and time seemed to stand still.
You will receive a welcome pack on arrival that consists of milk, bread, butter, eggs, toilet roll, tea, coffee & sugar.
Arctic Cabin - Currently Unavailable

Our Arctic Grill cabin is a great way to have a few friends round for an indoor feast. In the centre of the cabin is a grill for preparing delicious BBQ food. The Arctic cabin seats 8 people around the central table in a quirky hexagonal shape wooden hut. 2 of the benches extend out allowing 2 adults to sleep comfortable whilst other seats can be used by children. An experience not to be missed.
Shepherds Hut - Currently Unavailable

The Shepherds Hut was built to re-create the days of old when the shepherds would sleep with the herd. Our Shepherds Hut sleeps 2 people on a sofa that extends out to a double bed. There is a gas ring burner, gas fridge, a table & 2 chairs and a camping toilet room at the rear. The Shepherds Hut Is mobile so can be situated within the grounds of St Marks Country Park to suit your needs. Whether it be down by the lakeside, close to the amenities or a more secluded spot, we will endeavour to position it to your requirements.

At St Marks Country Park we want to make everyone’s stay as enjoyable as possible. We aim to accurately describe our facilities and services to give you the confidence to book the right holiday for your specific requirements.
Our thatched roof Tholtans’ are all on one level. There is a small threshold to step over to access the Tholtan. Once inside there are two bedrooms (1 double bedroom and 1 bunk bedroom). There is a lounge/diner/kitchen which has a couch, dining table and 4 chairs and a sink with cold running water, a multi fuel burner and 2 ring gas hob.
The Tholtan’s are off grid and have no electricity, TV or Wi-Fi therefor anyone with sight or mobility restrictions may struggle during the hours of darkness as only torches and battery-operated lighting is on the premises.
A composting toilet and gas operated hot shower is in a separate unit behind the Tholtan and is accessed by going out through the main entrance and walking around the back, again during hours of darkness only torchlight will be used.
There is an area out to the front and side of the Tholtan which is laid to grass and has a wooden table and bench set for admiring the surrounding countryside.

The Park has an on call manager 24 hours a day
